Reflection

I am a member of several artist groups that meet online, interact with each other, and stay in touch via online platforms. Showing my artwork to these diverse artist groups is very inspiring and educational.

For a while, I presented my daily sketchbook work once a week. Collecting and rearranging the pages into a single-page document was very insightful for me. Normally, you can't see all the pages of a sketchbook at a glance, so this task gave me a new perspective on my creative work.

Suddenly, I could see a common thread in my work. Presenting to a group, receiving feedback, and searching for words to describe my own designs to the members helped me to better understand my creative work.
